The location by the river is really nice. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. I also enjoyed the complimentary drinks and the inclusive shuttle service to town I thought it was amazing.
My room lacked toiletries I didn't even have a small bar of soap. The housekeeping staff talked loudly one morning which woke me up. I also thought the bathroom smelt of urine this was not very charming.

The receptionist assisted with our luggage and showed us to our room. I received vouchers for drinks at the bar. The hotel provides a shuttle service to the city center and back. I appreciated the suggestions for local dining from Jason, the shuttle driver.
The bathroom was quite cramped. I was provided with two bath towels but only one hand towel. Another hand towel was not available. The hotel norm is one between two.

The room had all necessary bathroom items. It was bright and spacious. The room itself was spotless. I appreciated the hot shower after a long day.

Every staff member was happy and polite. The receptionist took us to our room and was helpful. Anna at Reception organized a return shuttle. Kevin drove the complimentary shuttle car.

The hotel location is next to the River Avon. It offers great views of the cathedral. Breakfast offered an amazing choice of foods. It was delicious with a good selection.

Decent Stay with Some Disappointments
missing toiletriesurine smell
The lack of toiletries was quite noticeable. There wasn't even a small bar of soap available in the bathroom. This felt inadequate for a hotel that presents itself as high-end. The bathroom also had a lingering smell of urine. It seemed to originate from the toilet seat's underside, indicating it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned. It should have been replaced!

the location provided a nice view , as advertised.
The bathroom was rather cramped. It was hard to reach behind the shower screen to adjust the taps. i also found it odd that we only received one hand towel between two guests.
